Using the service

Anyone may enter a domain and see a preview, because that reads only public pages. Everything past the preview - the full report, pull requests, connected accounts - requires proving the domain is yours. Do not use the service to analyse or act on a domain you do not own or are not authorised to act for.

What we do to your website

Nothing, unless you connect a repository and merge what we open.

Every change we produce arrives as a pull request against a branch we create. We do not commit to your default branch, we do not force-push, and we do not deploy. The decision to merge is yours, every time, and the diff is in front of you when you make it.

What we do not promise

We do not promise a ranking, a position, or an amount of traffic. Nobody who tells you otherwise is being straight with you: search engines rank sites, and the only inputs anyone controls are the ones we work on.

What we do promise is that the findings are measured rather than guessed, that every one carries the evidence that produced it, and that you can check our work. Where a check turns out to be wrong, we fix the check and say so.

Payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on the terms shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time and the subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Reports stay available while a subscription is active on that domain.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to attack, overload, or map a site you do not control. Our crawler identifies itself, obeys robots.txt, and rate-limits itself against every site it touches, and we expect the same intent from the people pointing it.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue or lost rankings. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

This matters most around pull requests: we write the change, you review and merge it, and what runs on your site is what you merged. Read the diff.

Ending it

You can stop using the service whenever you like, and ask us to delete what we hold - hello@organicrank.ai. We may suspend an account that is being used against these terms, and we will tell you why.
